Artist Statement:
My kites are imbued with extraordinary abilities, capable of expressing emotions and sharing stories with those lucky enough to witness their ethereal dance. Pieces of my soul are infused into each hand-crafted kite, resulting in them being bestowed with life, consciousness, and a unique voice of their own. These are no ordinary kites; they are storytellers, healers, and beacons of tranquility. The true power of these kites lay in their ability to heal soul wounds. With an unwavering devotion to serve as conduits of solace, each creation holds an empathic energy that transcends the realm of ordinary existence.

Materials:
Kites are typically constructed by layering fabric on a light nylon substrate. In the process, images, often provided by the client, can be reproduced and assembled using a collage hand piecing technique. This collaborative approach allows for versatility in creating unique specialty items for various occasions, such as birthdays, weddings, and anniversaries. Lightweight fabrics or remnants from sentimental items, like a prom dress or tie, can also be incorporated into the design. The possibilities for creating personalized kites are vast and depend on individual preferences and creativity.
